In addition to my artwork, these are some of the special projects I’m working on right now…

Art cannot change events. But it can change people. It can affect people so that they are changed... because people are changed by art – enriched, ennobled, encouraged – they then act in a way that may affect the course of events... by the way they vote, they behave, the way they think.

A community art project to support those touched by grief from infertility, miscarriage, and infant loss

This series of events includes the "100 Days of Healing and Remembrance" project, created by Denver artist Angela Craven. Along with Craven's non-profit partners, Global Health Disrupted and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. Together with their communities, they’re working to support those touched by grief from infertility, miscarriage, and infant loss. Events will include art-making, workshops, community engagement, and a collaborative exhibition of the “100 Days of Healing and Remembrance” painting sharing grief stories. This project was recently funded by an Arts in Society Grant and is currently moving to a new site, launching soon! Please email me with any questions about this project or “100 Days of Healing and Remembrance”.

A series of painting and being workshops and events to help you create with intention

The Art of Being is a series of narrative painting workshops and events created by the founder of Chapter BE, Kïrsten Blake, and Denver artist Angela Craven. Each experience is custom-designed for you to slow down, reflect, and foster your creativity. We've designed all of The Art of Being experiences for people, companies, and organizations who are striving for authentic human connection, inspired collaboration, and aiming to show up as their best and most creatively alive in all facets of their lives. During each event, our facilitators lead you through a series of exercises to help you uncover and return to your true self. Then they'll guide you through creating an expressionist painting to symbolize it.
